dc.description.resumoEste trabalho de divulgação científica propõe aproximar o conhecimento da taxonomia e da biodiversidade do público geral por meio do Instagram. Ao focalizar as atividades do Grupo de Estudos Taxonômicos dos Oniscidea do Piauí (GETOPI), evidencia-se a importância dos tatuzinhos-de-jardim na ciclagem de nutrientes e na preservação dos ecossistemas locais. Reconhecendo que o acesso à ciência é frequentemente limitado por uma linguagem técnica, torna-se essencial reestruturar essas informações para torná-las compreensíveis e atrativas a diferentes segmentos da sociedade. A estratégia de divulgação envolve um planejamento detalhado e a execução de ações integradas que iniciam com a definição do público-alvo e a criação de uma identidade visual coerente para o perfil oficial do GETOPI no Instagram. O conteúdo a ser disseminado abrange temas como taxonomia, biodiversidade e conservação ambiental, apresentados por meio de postagens estáticas, carrosséis, vídeos curtos e stories. A utilização de recursos visuais de alta qualidade, aliada a uma abordagem interativa – por meio de enquetes, sessões de perguntas e respostas e o compartilhamento de conteúdos gerados pelos seguidores, visa ampliar o engajamento e o alcance das informações divulgadas. Além disso, a proposta contempla o acompanhamento sistemático dos resultados, utilizando métricas como número de seguidores, taxa de engajamento e feedback do público. Essa análise contínua permitirá identificar pontos fortes e oportunidades para aprimoramento das ações de comunicação, possibilitando ajustes que reforcem a eficácia da divulgação científica. Ao utilizar o Instagram como ferramenta estratégica, o projeto não apenas democratiza o acesso ao conhecimento, mas também estreita os laços entre a comunidade acadêmica e a sociedade, incentivando práticas sustentáveis e a valorização da biodiversidade. A iniciativa estimula, ainda, uma reflexão crítica acerca da importância da preservação ambiental e do papel individual na conservação dos recursos naturais. Combinando conteúdos educativos e a dinâmica das redes sociais, o projeto promove a ciência como instrumento transformador, capaz de influenciar positivamente a percepção pública e fomentar o engajamento cívico.por
dc.description.abstractScientific outreach aims to bring knowledge of taxonomy and biodiversity closer to the general public through Instagram. By focusing on the activities of the Taxonomic Study Group of Oniscidea of Piauí (GETOPI), the importance of pillbugs in nutrient cycling and the preservation of local ecosystems is highlighted. Recognizing that access to science is often limited by technical language, it is essential to restructure this information to make it understandable and attractive to different segments of society. The outreach strategy involves detailed planning and the execution of integrated actions that begin with defining the target audience and creating a coherent visual identity for the official GETOPI profile on Instagram. The content to be disseminated covers topics such as taxonomy, biodiversity and environmental conservation, presented through static posts, carousels, short videos and stories. The use of high-quality visual resources, combined with an interactive approach, through polls, question and answer sessions and sharing of content generated by followers, aims to increase engagement and the reach of the information disseminated. In addition, the proposal includes systematic monitoring of results, using metrics such as number of followers, engagement rate and public feedback. This continuous analysis will allow identifying strengths and opportunities for improving communication actions, enabling adjustments that reinforce the effectiveness of scientific dissemination. By using Instagram as a strategic tool, the project not only democratizes access to knowledge, but also strengthens ties between the academic community and society, encouraging sustainable practices and the appreciation of biodiversity. The initiative also encourages critical reflection on the importance of environmental preservation and the individual role in the conservation of natural resources. Combining educational content and the dynamics of social networks, the project promotes science as a transformative instrument, capable of positively influencing public perception and fostering civic engagement.por
