O humor como ferramenta de aprendizagem da língua inglesa

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the use of the humor as a learnig tool of the English language for students of basic education in a Public School from the town of Regeneração – Piauí. To realize this investigation, we adopted the fowlling quiding questions: Why not to use the humor as a learnig tool? How the students of 8th from the basic education perceive the teaching of English Language? How the use of the humor would develop on students during the teaching of the English Language? To substantiate this work, we used the theories of researchers: AMORIM (2006); DIAS (2010); GAROTTI (2013) SOUZA and (2007). Others investigations supported our research. all of them showing how the use of the humor can be one more resource in the promotion of the English in teaching-Learnig. The method used for the execution of this work was a field research of quantitative and qualitative nature. In this way, we verified after the dates analyze that the humor used as tool in english learnig, the behavior of the students show itself better when the humor is inserted, the level of understanding of the subject matter and the engagement also is bigger when the humor was applied.
