Abstract

The present course conclusion work entitled CONTEXTUALIZATION OF QUESTIONS ABOUT 1st GRADE FUNCTIONS AND 2nd GRADE FUNCTIONS IN 9th GRADE CLASSES OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, sought to insert and solve exercises that address the various everyday situations that arise during the course of the student's life, aiming at the achievement of consolidated knowledge on the part of the student. Thus, we seek to present strategies and mechanisms (questionnaires, lists of exercises and probing tests) for students to satisfactorily interpret contextualized questions and exercises, or that contain some type of problem situation. We understand that mathematics is the basis for the various areas of knowledge, such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and other sciences, so bringing mathematics closer to the student's real situation is a premise that must guide the teaching work, in view of the undeniable fact that a good part of young people finish basic education with difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts.
