dc.description.resumoEste artigo tem como objetivo discutir o cotidiano das mulheres de uma comunidade pesqueira e praieira do litoral do Piauí (Pedra do Sal). Para isso foram analisadas as falas de três mulheres nativas da comunidade Pedra do Sal por meio da História Oral, além de outros trabalhos acadêmicos sobre a comunidade. O estudo discute como funcionavam a educação e o trabalho das mulheres da comunidade na década de 1980 em Parnaíba (PI) com o objetivo de entender qual o tipo de formação educacional e quais as oportunidades de trabalho para essas mulheres em uma comunidade onde predominava o trabalho tradicional e a educação informal. A década de 1980, período da análise, foi impactada por transformações contextuais na infraestrutura da cidade de Parnaíba afetando a comunidade local.por
dc.description.abstractThis article aims to discuss the daily lives of women in a fishing and seaside community on the coast of Piauí (Pedra do Sal). To this end, the statements of three native women from the Pedra do Sal community were analyzed through Oral History, along with other academic works about the community. The study examines how education and women’s work operated in the community during the 1980s in Parnaíba (PI), with the goal of understanding what kind of educational background and what work opportunities were available to these women in a community where traditional labor and informal education predominated. The 1980s, the period under analysis, were marked by contextual transformations in the infrastructure of the city of Parnaíba, which affected the local community.eng
