Abstract

The presented work has as objective describes the study of the conical sections.In way, that we will begin, working, the historical context of the conical ones, where we will tell the Greek thoughts to Apolônio about the conical sections. Conseguintemente , will introduce the notions of Cartesian plan, distance among two points, conditions of alignments of the points, equation of the straight line, translação and rotation of axes, places of geometric, circumferences, relative positions of the among the straight line and the circumference that are pre - requirements for we penetrated in the studies of the conical ones, with focus, in them ellipse, hyperbole and parables. In those conical ones, we will study, the elements of each a, their reduced equations, haul, of when yours points and vertex are out of the origin of the Cartesian plan. Also, we brought problems coma tangent straight line, that to pass in the ellipse, hyperbole and parables, haul ,we learned to build them when they go equation of the second degree and some problems of loci for we identified the type of the conical. Like this trying to explain in a simpler way the study of the conical sections.
