O papel do jogo lúdico: sudoku aplicado a disciplina de matemática

Abstract

Study the sought to investigate the relevance of sudoku to improve the school performance of students in early childhood education. For that, the technical bibliographic procedure was used and the discussion of the data was carried out through content analysis (Borin). In this way, the guiding question was articulated under the following problem: How to awaken the attention of the student body to the discipline of mathematics through the Sudoku game? In this sense, to answer the above question, the following specific objectives were clarified: to emphasize the importance of sudoku and the contribution in the promotion of logical reasoning, to emphasize the role of playfulness in the teaching of mathematics and to point out the challenges in the teaching of logical reasoning. Faced with this reality, according to the empirical data of the study carried out by Caleffi ; et al (2020), about the Sudoku game as a mathematical modeling tool, the students' level of knowledge and their evolution through the didactic game were verified. In this way, the results demonstrate that sudoku was essential to awaken attention, develop concentration and improve the student body's logical reasoning, since the assertive result is related to the frequent analysis of the moves that requires focus to evolve, therefore, this condition favors the student to reevaluate the moves and maintain psychological balance to face challenges with greater motivation.
